Tuesday 2/22/11, 3pm. Tryouts were cancelled today due to schools being closed.  Tryouts will resume Wednesday 2/23/11 at 3:30 unless we are forced inside because of feild conditions.  In the case that we are forced into the gym the time could and most likely will change.  Please monitor the school announcements and this page for updates.  In addition, please come prepared for both indoor and outdoor tryouts (cleats, clean tennis shoes and clothing for both).

Softball tryouts for the 2011 season will begin on Monday 2/21 at 3:30pm. Tryouts will be conducted outside, weather permitting. In the case of inclement weather, please monitor this page and listen carefully to school announcements for further information. Please bring appropriate clothing for outdoor conditions. Please see the Team Files portion of this page for tryout criteria.  Sports physicals must be on file with the Athletic office to be eligible to tryout.

The last three days of conditioning will be Monday 2/14, Wednesday 2/16 and Friday 2/18.  Please bring both indoor and outdoor clothing.  Weather permitting, we will go outside.

The 2010 Softball Team wants to thank Mr. Healey, Mrs. Karyn Riddle, Keith Laine and Sandy Crow along with the rest of the OP staff for their support during this great softball season.  We would also like to thank all of our parents and families for allowing their children to participate in our program and for their support of the players and OP Softball.


I also want to add my personal thanks to the many people who helped make our softball program a great success this year.  This year was and will always remain so very special to me and it was a privilege to be associated with all of you.   Coach D
